Thunder Bay has a growing number of pickleball enthusiasts with different groups playing at several locations in and around TB. In order to facilitate communication between all the various playing groups and promote pickleball, the Thunder Bay Pickleball Association was formed. Our goal is to serve as the clearinghouse for all things “pickleball” in the area.
There are several noteworthy aspects about our club. One is that we have developed a relationship with the Thunder Bay Community Tennis Centre (www.thunderbaytennis.com). The club is working together with them to promote PB in TB! In fact, together we are working for a new indoor pickleball, tennis, and badminton facility.
Also noteworthy is that the Club is being sponsored by Superior Pickleball Paddles (web: superiorpickleball.wordpress.com or Facebook: Superior Pickleball Paddles). SPP provides Onix paddles (paddle manufacture –Z5 Widebody, Phantom, Zen, Stryker, Evoke, etc.) to the Club at a reduced price.
